Spinal Cord Stimulation Implant for Chronic Pain

Elaboration

The spinal cord stimulation Implant for chronic pain is carried out with a spinal cord stimulator that is similar to a pacemaker. It is implanted under the skin. A mild electric pulse to the spine is delivered by a neuro-stimulator causing tingling sensation in the area of the chronic pain.

The Process is carried out as…

With the help of a needle, spinal cord is implanted near the body’s spinal column along with soft thin wires with electrical leads on their tips. The leads are placed through a needle at the back. After this, a small incision is made and a tiny programmable generator is placed in the upper buttock or abdomen through which electrical currents are emitted to the spinal column.

At Pain Management Institute we have on board reprogramming technicians, who are always at help when needed. We provide sound psychiatric help for the patients in need and we offer best education programs in order to educate about the machines.
